Haiku 4.5 is really tiny and not very smart, and I use it for exactly that: cheap, frequent decisions and short text inside my products. It doesn't follow length limits. Asked for 100 to 350 characters, it wrote 500 to 1,000. In my blind reads in October 2026 it sometimes wrote warmer copy than the alternatives, with descriptions that read less like AI. It also used em dashes, and one email used what we know about the reader in a way that felt a bit creepy. Some of its jobs are pure yes-or-no questions, so I'll likely replace it with a model like Jev or OpenAI's Decisions API.
