Cowork runs most of my work outside code, and it's dependable and powerful, but the UI is still not ideal. I use it for strategy, marketing and growth across my products, with 23 scheduled jobs, connectors for Gmail, Todoist, Buffer, PostHog, Ahrefs and Sentry, and Claude in Chrome for browser work. I've used it daily since mid-2026. What did not work: the UI is still buggy. Messages I sent while it was working often never went out and piled up at the bottom of the chat. Scheduled tasks stopped with no error, and every scheduled run opens a new session, so one conversation splits into many. The "Default" model setting changed under me from Opus to Fable, and my usage tripled before I noticed. I found no single reliable way to back up my projects. When Claude went down in September, none of the cloud chats would load.

Claude Cowork on Windows could not run local commands

For about four days after a Windows update, Cowork on Windows could not run local commands. Chat and file reading and editing still worked for most users.
