Claude Cowork features available from any conversation

Anthropic began rolling out a new Claude experience that makes everything Claude Cowork does available from any conversation, without choosing a mode first. Chats, Cowork tasks, projects, connectors and skills carry over. It is rolling out gradually to Pro and Max plans on web, desktop and mobile.

Who is affected:

Pro and Max subscribers who use Claude chat or Claude Cowork.

What to do:

No action needed. Hand Cowork-style tasks to Claude in a normal conversation once the rollout reaches you.

Claude Cowork comes to web and mobile, starting with Max

Claude Cowork became available on web and mobile in addition to desktop, rolling out over several weeks starting with the Max plan. Sessions run remotely in beta and are saved to the Claude account, so work continues with the laptop closed and scheduled tasks run with no device online.

Who is affected:

Max subscribers first, then other plans, who use Claude Cowork.

What to do:

No action needed. Max users can start Cowork sessions from the web or mobile app.
