The model docs now list openai/gpt-6-astra at $10.00 per million input tokens and $50.00 per million output tokens up to 272k input tokens, with flex and priority tiers.

Ultrafast mode available for GPT-6 Astra in the API

Ultrafast mode for GPT-6 Astra became available to API customers in the Responses API, with global processing and US data residency only.

GPT-6 Astra available in Perplexity Computer for Pro and Max

Eligible Pro and Max subscribers can use GPT-6 Astra for Computer tasks and supporting agents, depending on plan and data-retention eligibility. The same release added Effort Mode, which picks the model and reasoning level from a Light, Standard, High or Ultra setting.

GPT-6 Astra available in GitHub Copilot

GPT-6 Astra is available on Copilot Pro+, Max, Business and Enterprise at provider list price, and is enabled automatically under default model enablement.

GPT-6 Astra released

OpenAI released GPT-6 Astra on the Responses and Chat Completions APIs as its most capable model. Astra does not support the none reasoning effort, custom temperature or top_p, or logprobs.
