The dall-e-2 and dall-e-3 snapshots and the Realtime API Beta interface were removed from the API on May 12, 2026. OpenAI recommends gpt-image-2, gpt-image-1 or gpt-image-1-mini for images and the released Realtime API for voice.

Who is affected:
Apps still calling dall-e-2, dall-e-3 or the Realtime API Beta.
Action needed:
Move image calls to gpt-image-2 and voice apps to the released Realtime API.
