Jules winds down on December 31, 2026 and goes read-only after November 11

Google is winding down Jules as part of unifying its agentic coding efforts. Sessions can be finished until November 11, 2026, after which Jules is read-only until the end of the year. Users can export settings, environment variables, scheduled tasks, repos, memories and sessions with Jules Tools.

Who is affected:
Everyone who uses Jules for asynchronous coding tasks, scheduled tasks or the Jules API.
Action needed:
Finish open sessions by November 11, 2026 and export your Jules data with Jules Tools before the shutdown.
