Google gave about two weeks notice that veo-2.0-generate-001, veo-3.0-generate-001 and veo-3.0-fast-generate-001 would shut down on June 30, 2026, pointing users to Veo 3.1.

Who is affected:
Apps generating video with Veo 2 or Veo 3 in the Gemini API.
Action needed:
Switch to the Veo 3.1 model IDs.
