Claude Duet opens as a research preview for US Pro and Max subscribers

Anthropic opened a waitlisted research preview of Claude Duet, a new app where Claude works as a proactive agent that sends a morning brief, checks connected apps every few hours and asks for approval before sending, paying, signing or deleting. It runs on Claude Opus 5.5, is available on iOS, Android and claude.ai, and is included in Pro and Max plans in the US, sharing their usage limits.

Who is affected:

US Claude Pro and Max subscribers. Team and Enterprise plans are not included yet.

Join the waitlist at claude.com/product/claude-duet if you are a US Pro or Max subscriber. Expect its background checks to count toward your plan's usage limits.
